Māruawai College Canopy – Booking Information & Facility Guidelines

Māruawai College all-weather canopy is a key feature of the school, providing a large covered space over 4 courts for year-round use. Designed to suit Southland conditions, the canopy offers protection from rain, wind, and strong UV while still allowing natural light through, creating a practical and comfortable environment. The space is used daily for sports such as basketball and netball, as well as Physical Education classes and general student use. Its size and versatility make it one of the standout facilities at the school, supporting both school activities and wider community use.
